Version 5 is done! There are some big changes this time around:
+ Added 17.5, 18.5, and 19
+ Added thprac
+ Added the P2P patch for 19
+ Added the launching and config systems from the Touhou98 Experience pack
= Fixed all the PC-98 disk images
= Replaced Neko Project with DOSBox-X
- Removed obsolete materials for 15.5
- Removed redundant English hardpatches

Especially because of that last point, almost all the zips have changed in this release, so using the old versions to help seed won't be possible.
In any case, please do let me know of any errors, and use the Version 6 thread to suggest any improvements for next time. Enjoy!

It seems that th06 zip file is corrupted. Logs says that CRC error or file broken. Forced recheck in BT client but no help.

Interesting. It looks fine on my end, and I haven't heard this from anyone else, so it seems likely that this isn't an issue with the torrent itself. A recheck is a good place to start, and it's somewhat worrying that that didn't fix the problem.
- Have you tried completely deleting that zip and redownloading it from scratch?
- What software are you using to open it? I used 7zip to make the zips, and while I tried to use widely compatible settings, maybe that one just doesn't work with whatever extractor you're using?
- There's one thing TH06 has that few others do - a file inside that has kanji in the filename. The vpatch zip also has one; can you extract that? If not, can you do it when in JP locale / with a locale emulator?
- If nothing else works, there's the slim but frightening possibility that it's a hardware failure. Is the drive you're storing it on healthy?

Thanks for your advice! I tried with other files and half is corrupted, but not the issue with torrent. Redownloading seemed to be a fix. I guess the issue is related to some errors on my filesystem.

>What software are you using to open it?
I'm using Bandizip, also tested with internal zip function inside Windows explorer. Afaik locale issue doesn't affect the file integrity checking (also extracted/tested with JP locale in Bandizip).

Well, I'm glad you got it sorted out, but you should probably figure out what's wrong with that drive before it's too late!
>>
Good stuff. Is there any reason you replaced Neko Project with DOSBox-X?
>>

Thanks! And yeah, there was a discussion about it in a previous thread, starting at >>23.

Hey, thanks a lot for the megapack! Very convenient.
Have you though about including the HD sprites and visible hitboxes mod for TH6?
>>
>>62
Glad you like it.
From the start, I've wanted to avoid scope creep, and have always used "include only the essentials" as a guiding principle. Those two mods are conveniences, if you're into that sort of thing, but they're not essential for making the games perform as intended or for translating text, so I won't be including them. Thank for the suggestion, though.
